Recipe kuih cek mek
Hello guys!
The best thing about Ramadhan that i like is the variety of kuih are served.A lot of sellers tend to sell variety of kuih and the moms would like to make kuih.On my first Ramadhan, my family enjoyed kuih cek mek as it is everyone favourite. We love the sweetness melt in our mouth and the softness of sweet potatoes. So i would ike to share the simple-procedure of making this kuih.
1.Boil the sweet potatoes untill its mashable. Make sure to peel of the skin and cut into pieces so that the sweet potatoes will soft faster.
2.Mash the potato untill no hard pieces left (move the roots as much as possible)
3.Add some wheat flour untill it becomes a little harder . Dont put too much flour because it will make the sweet potatoes hard after fry.
4.Shape the mix to small cylinder with a pointy nozzle but the important about this kuih is you need to add some sugar in the kuih.
5.Fry it untill golden brown.
6.Enjoy! (Dont eat while it is warm because the hot melted sugar will burn your tounge!)
